World Hurdle

The World Hurdle is a race for staying hurdlers and is run over a distance of 3 miles on the New Course at Cheltenham. During the race the horses jump over 12 flights of hurdles.

No horse is shaping better for the 2010 World Hurdle at Cheltenham than Paul Nicholls trained Big Bucks. The horse won the race in 2009 and is showing fantastic form in the 2009/10 season, comfortably seeing off all competitors thus far under the ride of Ruby Walsh. Big Bucks is currently a 4/6 in the betting markets for the World Hurdle. Other runners expected to be in the World Hurdle include Karabak and Diamond Harry.

The 2010 World Hurdle will be run on Day three of the Cheltenham Festival and the prize fund is expected to be just over £250,000.
